Dougsba has had cavaliers (no other breeds) for 40 years! We adore this toy breed. A pretty breed, they are very intelligent & readily give you love & companionship; fitting into the family circle so easily. We are dedicated to showing and breeding healthy Cavalier King Charles Spaniels of sound type from health tested stock. MRI's are an important part of our health program. Regular attendees at the Cavalier Club's Specialist Heart & Eye clinics plus DNA'd for CC/EF. Breeder &/or owner of 32 champions to date. Our puppies are house-raised & happily run freely on lovely grassy lawns through the day. My puppies, sometimes all four colours, are available to loving, caring homes. We live on a small farm in north-west NSW, where our dogs have plenty of room to run and play, fresh air, good food and water and plenty of attention. They love showing just about as much as we do. We have shown 18 Cavaliers to their Australian Championship title and 15 of these were bred by us in the Maxemil prefix, including one Supreme Champion. Health and temperament are our priorities, combined with correct conformation and type. Cavaliers have to be the most beautiful breed who readily to adapt to whatever it is their owners want - active or sedate. They are happiest just to be with you and included in your life. Don't think of buying a Cavalier unless you want a constant companion. Potential adoptive families, should be prepared for the "third degree" as we want only the best homes for our puppies and older dogs, who are all sold as family pets. We do not export or ship dogs by air or road, nor do we deal through third parties. The potential owner of the dog is the only one we will sell to. You will need to drive to us to near Moree (NW NSW), so you need to take this into account.

Tricolour and Blenheim puppies are currently available. At Cavshack, our gorgeous, healthy, happy and active puppies are raised in a loving, caring home with lots of cuddles and affection. Update. Cleo’s precious puppies arrived last night. We have five beautiful girls and one handsome little boy. Once dna results are known in about a week, we will know which ones will be available. Expressions of interest are invited for a litter of puppies expected in only one week from Boambillee Ring the Bell (Billie) and Nabucco Magic Mirror (Cleo). Both parents carry the AG protective heart gene and have clear dna for EFS, CC/DE, CM, DM and ADAM(TS3). So puppies could be AG or even hopefully some GG. Mum and dad are cardiologist cleared. Puppies will be Blenheim. They will be born and reared in our home and intensively socialised and trained to toilet on real grass.

Introducing you to Benji. He is a beautiful sweet natured boy who is 8 months old. He is out of our beautiful "Lola" Champion Jezzamont Lollobrigida. We had kept him on with the prospect of him being the new addition to our show team. Unfortunately, he isn't quite up to show standard, so we have made the difficult decision to place him with a loving forever home. Benji absolutely loves to be around his humans and other dogs too. He absolutely loves his quiet time sitting next to you but also happy to do his own thing. Benji lives inside our home as all our Cavaliers do and is completely house trained and used to using a doggy door to take himself outside to go to the toilet. Anyone who meets Benji is guaranteed to fall in love with him. Should you wish to enquire about beautiful Benji, please be willing to share as much information about yourself to give us an idea on what sort of a life you'd give Benji. This boy is absolutely no trouble to live with so we are more than happy to wait as long as it takes to find the very best home possible.

We have available a lovely 4yr old tricolour girl. Bluey is house trained walks well on a lead and is crate trained. She is groomed every 3 weeks and is good with other dogs and with children however we would prefer her to go with older children if possible. Bluey is fully vaccinated and treated for heart worm and fleas and ticks. She will need to be desexed. She will also have her teeth cleaned. I'd like to introduce you to Evie. Evie is a very fit, healthy, active, playful and very loving and affectionate 3 year old gorgeous girl! We are looking for that special home where Evie will be loved and cared for and provided with the attention she deserves. Living at Brandy Hill on 2 & 1/2 acres, Evie has plenty of room to run around with her fellow companion cavies and she really enjoys this and thrives on the freedom to explore. Evie loves to be around her playmates and people. She relishes cuddles, and a good tummy rub, as she soaks up attention and affection. To fall asleep beside you at any time, if you allow her to, would make her so happy. At night Evie sleeps cozily with her other cavie beauties. Evie has been desexed, has full vaccination history and given a full dental check, just recently. A fully fenced decent size yard is essential. Another canine companion would be ideal, along with providing Evie with a premium dog food, regular worm/flea/tick monthly treatments and lots of love and care.
