The Caucasian Shepherd Dog is a dog with over 2,000 years old roots in the remote mountainous region of the Caucasus in southeastern Europe and KAVKAZ ANGEL KENNEL aims to breed Caucasian Shepherd puppies in order to save and improve the Caucasian Shepherd Breed's best qualities. Our Caucasian Shepherd Dogs are imported from the Caucasus and live with British White cattle and Appaloosa horses on our farm in Victoria, Australia. Our female Sunny, is imported from Tbilisi Georgia and her mother Bassa was born at St. George’s Monastery of Tabakini, where Orthodox priests have been breeding Caucasian Shepherd dogs since 1992. Sunny is the first Caucasian Shepherd Dog to be imported and registered in Australia - the four year long process to import Sunny from Georgia and register the breed in Australia resulted in ANKC Recognition of the Caucasian Shepherd Dog breed on 24 July 2018. Our young male Roki, is from Dusheti, a district of eastern Georgia on the foothills of the Greater Caucasus Mountains known for its seasonal sheep farming. When selecting our Caucasian Shepherd Dogs we apply more than 20 years experience with rare livestock guardian breeds and importing from their countries of origin. The bloodlines of our Caucasian Shepherd Dogs are specifically chosen to represent the traditional Georgian type of Caucasian Shepherd. Bassett hound puppies. Ready for their new homes 21/1/2025. Will be Microchipped, vaccinated, DNA recorded, have had a chiropractic visit and have been vet health checked prior to pickup. They will be registered with Dogs Queensland on main register. There are 3 females and 1 male. $4000

We currently have a litter of tri colour puppies that will be ready to go into their new homes before Christmas. The cost of our puppies is $3.500 and that includes registration, immunisation, micro-chipping and vet check prior to departure. We take great pride in breeding sound dogs, and as a result of this have had major wins in most Australian states, with our Kennel name appearing on many winning dogs throughout this country and overseas, which is something we are very proud of. Our pedigrees are of the highest standard and quality, with blood lines including dogs imported from the United States of America, England, and Ireland, and many of our animals living overseas. Some of our more recent successes include winning Best In Show at the Basset Hound National Show held in Victoria in November 2023, Best in Show at both the Qld and NSW Basset Hound Club Championship shows as well as Best of Breed at both shows held at the Brisbane Royal in 2024.
