Our Caucasian Shepherd Dogs are imported from the Caucasus and live with British White cattle and Appaloosa horses on our farm in Victoria, Australia.
Our female Sunny, is imported from Tbilisi Georgia and her mother Bassa was born at St. George’s Monastery of Tabakini, where Orthodox priests have been breeding Caucasian Shepherd dogs since 1992. Sunny is the first Caucasian Shepherd Dog to be imported and registered in Australia - the four year long process to import Sunny from Georgia and register the breed in Australia resulted in ANKC Recognition of the Caucasian Shepherd Dog breed on 24 July 2018.
Our young male Roki, is from Dusheti, a district of eastern Georgia on the foothills of the Greater Caucasus Mountains known for its seasonal sheep farming.
When selecting our Caucasian Shepherd Dogs we apply more than 20 years experience with rare livestock guardian breeds and importing from their countries of origin. The bloodlines of our Caucasian Shepherd Dogs are specifically chosen to represent the traditional Georgian type of Caucasian Shepherd. Maemuki Japanese Spitz are expecting a gorgeous litter in December! Puppies will be ready for their new homes in early February. We are a dedicated breeder, who have been involved in the breed for 13 years. We strive to produce puppies of the highest quality, who are healthy, well conformed and have a beautiful temperament. We are very proud of our dogs, who are both a joy to live with and also achieve fantastic results in the show ring and as therapy dogs. The Japanese Spitz are our passion, pride and joy! The parents of this puppy have been checked for Patella Luxation and have undergone genetic testing. The Dad has also been hip and elbow scored. Puppies receive a thorough vet check when they receive their microchips and vaccinations at 6-7 weeks of age. The results are communicated by me to their future owner. Our puppies are born and raised inside which sets them up to be wonderful inside dogs. Their parents are much loved companions and members of our family (not kennel dogs). We use puppy culture to support raising our babies and give them the best possible start in life. You will be provided with regular updates and photos up until your puppy going home with you.
