The Merveille prefix was established in 2001 by Dr Kay Sanderson. Kay has loved and lived with briards for over 25 years. Merveille is an ancient French word meaning marvellous or wonderful which indeed briards are. It was only in 2019 that Kay bred for the first time with her beautiful, friendly, fawn girl, Freya, officially Tiahart Miss Monroe. In an endeavour to increase the gene pool in Australia. Kay imported semen from a beautiful black briard boy from Belgium. His name is Marco Polo du Coeur des Tresors, owned by Peggy Vlaminckx. Marco is a Belgium youth champion with a character test score of 18/20. Freya gave birth to 10 healthy puppies on 17th September, 2019 then 13 healthy puppies on 16th January 2021. All these puppies are in lovely homes with owners reporting lovely characteristics and beautiful temperaments.. Freya and Marco's beautiful, affectionate and loving fawn daughter gave birth to 6 gorgeous puppies mid July 2022 and 7 gorgeous puppies mid July 2023.
