Founded by Hilary Stephen in 1981, Lindenbrae Kennels has a tradition of breeding outstanding, versatile Border Collies who have achieved success in diverse fields. Many kennels include Lindenbrae bred dogs amongst their foundation stock. Vicki Rippon and Libby Hotchin share membership at Lindenbrae, retaining the longstanding commitment to breeding to correct type, and producing dogs who excel in all canine pursuits. Lindenbrae litters are carefully planned. Puppies are raised to exacting standards in terms of genetics, conformation, nutrition, mental and physical health, temperament and socialisation. The dogs in our breeding program have titles in Conformation, Obedience, Rally-O and/or Agility and are health / genetically tested in all relevant areas. As well as being loving family members, they are partners in Animal Assisted Therapy in Libby's work with children and young people. Our puppies are precious and only sold to the best of homes. We offer lifetime support and advice to all purchasers. Libby trains and instructs using motivational methods. Her dogs have achieved titles / preliminary certificates in show, obedience, rally, agility, coursing, herding and tracking. Border Collies have been a part of our family for the past 30 years. Our dogs participate in Obedience and agility and enjoy daily runs at our local beach. All our dogs are DNA tested for CL, CEA and TNS so we can guarantee that our pups can never develop these hereditary diseases. Our dogs have full breed profiles through Orivet. All breeding stock are hip and elbow scored and eye tested clear for Glaucoma and Goniodysgenesis. We raise our puppies using the Puppy Culture method including Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), enrichment, early socialization & problem prevention. We devote a lot of time and energy into breeding and raising very well adjusted quality puppies that fit amazingly into active, committed family homes.

Myworks Border Collies evolved from a 40 year involvement with the breed. My dogs have been much loved not only during my ownership from my teenage years but later by my growing family. They have been affectionate companions to our children over many years. My dogs are rarely entered in shows but spend most of their time in activities such as obedience training. We have also done some agility and dancing. This breed like to be busy and involved in your life. I have always found it mutually rewarding participating in activities that see us working together with a high level of communication that this intelligent breed respond to so strongly. Over the last 25 years I have bred the occasional litter of puppies which are reared in a loving home environment. I take a "no compromise" approach to selecting the temperament of the dogs I use for breeding and always seek to breed for physical soundness & quality. All dogs used for breeding are hip & elbow scored. They are also DNA tested for NCL, TNS & CEA to ensure the pups will never have these conditions. I am highly selective of the homes to which my pups go, endeavouring to ensure that the right pup goes to the right home to be loved for the duration of it's life. Inaword Border Collies are delighted to announce that we have puppies available. We have chocolate and white and black and white males and females currently available. We are a small breeder located in Mansfield at the foot of Mt Buller in NE Victoria. Our dogs are a part of our family and live on the farm not in kennels. They are well socialised with other animals and have good herding instincts. All our adult dogs are all DNA tested clear with full breed profiles so all pups bred by us are clear of any genetic diseases that can affect our beautiful breed. All our puppies are well socialized and have wonderful temperaments. Pups bred by us have excelled a variety of disciplines. Every one of our puppies is important to us and we love for our families to stay in touch with us with photos and updates of our puppies growing up in their new, loving homes. Khembear Border Collies are excitedly awaiting the arrival of Winnie's second litter of puppies in a couple of weeks. We are pleased to announce our next litter due December 2024 by Bestbuddies Prionnsa Merle out of Brackenvue Luna Eclipse. Colours expected are black and white, blue merle, chocolate merle and chocolate. Parents have had full genetic testing done through Orivet so puppies can be guaranteed to be free from any genetic diseases associated with the breed. Parents have been hip and elbow scored with Lavelles, both having recorded good scores. These test results are all available for potential buyers on request. We have a handsome 3 year old black and white boy looking for his forever home. He is kind, soft and gentle in temperament. He would make a wonderful family pet for anyone. He is lovely with all people he meets and great with our other dogs. He is not available for breeding or showing.
