Welcome to Abeleere Bernese. We fell in love with this breed in 2006 when Oscar - Abbiberne Mountain Nero - joined our family. Since then we have been hooked. A small kennel located on the Mornington Peninsula, our dogs are raised as part of our family. They sleep on the bed, on the couch and basically anywhere they want when they are not out roaming our beautiful 2.5 acres - purchased solely for their enjoyment. Bernese, unfortunately do not have a long lifespan so researching our genetic lines was extremely important to us when choosing our foundation dogs. Longevity, conformation and temperament are key in our decision making process. I am a fully qualified vet nurse and our Bernese are often the stars of our social media platform and adored by our clinic staff and clients. All dogs are tested for hip and elbow dysplasia, Von Willebrands Disease and Degenerative Myelopathy for both genes (SOD1A & SOD1B). Like all breeders, I only want the best homes for my dogs so be prepared to be asked lots of questions. Situated on 10 Acres just out of Horsham, we are passionate about sharing the Bernese joy with others. Our Bernese are hip & elbow scored and vet checked. I am an ANKC breeder registered with Dogs Victoria. We do not show our dogs, as our purpose for owning and breeding is to share the experience of owning a Bernese, as they are truly our much loved family pets. Our puppies are all handled by our 4 children aged primary through to secondary school age. We approve our puppies to go to only the best homes and offer ongoing support to new owners. Our main aim is to produce sound, healthy, family friendly companions that are also correct in conformation. This is challenging task but we are loving the complexity of breeding. From our litters we have numerous Australian Champions, some therapy dogs, a lifetime Crufts qualified girl, lots of completely loved pets. *PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTACTING ME* Our aim at Darkcrush is to produce sound, typical Bernese who can perform in the show & obedience rings, yet ultimately be faithful family companions for both ourselves & our puppy buyers. I am an ANKC breeder registered with DOGS Victoria and sell all pups on Limited papers between 8-12 weeks of age. As a small breeder wait times for puppies may vary (I do not keep a wait list). Shandez Kennels have a litter of red puppies available to loving pet homes. They will be able to go to their new family at the end of January. They are microchipped, vaccinated and wormed regularly. Our Aussie pups are socialized and partly toilet trained as well as vet checked, vaccinated and wormed ready for their new homes. 12 week old red female Australian Terrier puppy Joy. This puppy, from our recent litter, had been spoken for but the sale was unable to go ahead. Joy is registered, pedigreed, microchipped, health checked and wormed regularly. She has had her first and second vaccinations. She is used to being groomed and walks on the lead. She will be a lovely pet. Her parents are both Champions. She can be transported by air from Tasmania to Melbourne for around $200 and to Sydney for around $220 (includes travel crate).
