Bandilea are the home of Supreme in show winning Birman cats and are now also dedicated to preserving the Bearded Collie breed. Having owned both Beardies and Birmans for 24 years I am now striving to protect both of my cherished breeds. Bandilea have Imported a Swedish dog, Honeytaste Mr Tag Heuer (Imp ZAF) 'Hugo'. Hugo is a Multiple Best In Speciality Show winner. The Second male I have imported is from Finland, Memorylane Me Mileyself and I at Bandilea (Imp FIN) Herbie'. Bandilea have also imported frozen semen from successful dogs in the USA and UK which shows our dedication to this breed. Bandilea have bred several Australian Champions, including a BEST In SHOW winning dog. This is a testament to our quality and temperaments we strive for. My dogs are Hip/Elbow Scored and CEA DNA tested. My dogs live in the home as they are my pets first and foremost. They love to sleep on beds and be couch warmers! I select for temperament, health and soundness before show wins, although they are always nice! My dogs are highly trainable and compete in Showing, Obedience, Herding, Noseworks and Agility which shows the versatility of the breed. They are fun loving, active, enthusiastic, sweet and sociable with people along with other animals. The Bandilea team continue to win when it counts, as we don't show week in and week out. As a Psychologist I work with our Therapy dogs in the mental health field, the puppies are also given exposure to a number of environments including hospitals. Our little puppies will be ready to go to their new loving forever homes with insurance, puppy packs and breeder support in early to mid December. These puppies are expected to be inky black with a chance of white or cream with beautiful temperaments. Puppies will be registered with DogsSA, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and fully socialised. Mum is elegant, regal and a successful show girl, whilst Dad is a gentle, charming and laid back boy. Both parents are much adored inside house dogs. Prospective puppy owners can meet both parents, and even some of the previous litter puppies and their happy new owners. We currently have two litters of standard Poodle puppies one born August 2024 and the other born September 2024. There are three available to pet homes from the first litter and four available from the younger litter. They will be sold with desexing contracts and DogsNZ pedigrees endorsed 'Not to be bred'. A show or dog sport potential puppy may be available to the right home by negotiation. One brown boy, one blue girl and a cream girl from the first litter are available and two white boys and a white girl are available to approved homes from the second litter. Puppies, parents and our home and puppy raising environment are available to be seen by arrangement. We offer lifetime support for our puppy buyers and will take back any dog we have bred who can no longer stay with their family if their circumstances unexpectedly change.
