At Bayparque we strive to produce Bassets that are sound, healthy and have fabulous temperaments. We have incorporated into our kennel what we believe are some of the best Australian, American and NZ bloodlines. All of these kennels produce consistent winners in the show ring and amazing family companions. All our puppies are brought up in the house and are well socialised with cats and people. Breeders of Champion Basset Hounds since 1979. We strive to breed sound moderate hounds with excellent temperaments. We have bred three of only six New Zealand Grand Champion Basset Hounds ever: GR CH Hunterspark Mr Basil;GR CH & Aus CH Hunterspark Mr Sandman; and GR CH Hunterspark Mr Bertie Hunterspark was also associated for many years with Foxhounds and imported the first show Foxhounds into New Zealand in 1988, one of these hounds went on to be the only Grand Champion Foxhound, GR CHc Mingus Hound Hastings imp Aus

At Can-Oui Kennels we breed for health, soundness and fantastic temperaments. Our bloodlines include top winning lines from NZ, UK, Canada, Australia and Sweden from very well known & respected kennels which include Crufts Best of Breed winner for several years running, Grand Champions and FCI International/Multi Countries Champ. The results speak for themselves both in and out of the show ring! All our pups are home raised (in our home) with love and my full time attention.

We currently have a litter of tri colour puppies that will be ready to go into their new homes before Christmas. The cost of our puppies is $3.500 and that includes registration, immunisation, micro-chipping and vet check prior to departure. We take great pride in breeding sound dogs, and as a result of this have had major wins in most Australian states, with our Kennel name appearing on many winning dogs throughout this country and overseas, which is something we are very proud of. Our pedigrees are of the highest standard and quality, with blood lines including dogs imported from the United States of America, England, and Ireland, and many of our animals living overseas. Some of our more recent successes include winning Best In Show at the Basset Hound National Show held in Victoria in November 2023, Best in Show at both the Qld and NSW Basset Hound Club Championship shows as well as Best of Breed at both shows held at the Brisbane Royal in 2024.
