At Can-Oui Kennels we breed for health, soundness and fantastic temperaments. Our bloodlines include top winning lines from NZ, UK, Canada, Australia and Sweden from very well known & respected kennels which include Crufts Best of Breed winner for several years running, Grand Champions and FCI International/Multi Countries Champ. The results speak for themselves both in and out of the show ring! All our pups are home raised (in our home) with love and my full time attention.

Collectively as a mother/daughter duo under the Kamahi prefix have over 80 years combined breeding experience, showing and handling to various titles of Australian, Grand and Supreme Champions winning multi Best in Show, Best in Hound Group and Best Class in Show awards at both All Breed and Speciality shows, including Best in Hound Group placements at numerous Royals, under Judges here in Australian and from around the world. Small family raised kennel where our bassets are a part of our family. We believe in breeding healthy, conformationally correct, beautiful tempered examples of the breed. Our bassets are with us as part of our family - you'll find them holidaying with us, travelling with us for work, and in general seeing what mischief they can get into around the farm. We show our dogs and also enjoy different training pursuits with them. While we breed mainly for ourselves, we may occasionally have puppies available to the best of homes.

Our dogs are our family and live in the house with us on our 10 acre property in the Dandenong Ranges. All puppies are hand raised, loved and well socialised with our large family. Puppies are all microchipped, wormed, vaccinated, and vet checked.

Bassett hound puppies. Ready for their new homes 21/1/2025. Will be Microchipped, vaccinated, DNA recorded, have had a chiropractic visit and have been vet health checked prior to pickup. They will be registered with Dogs Queensland on main register. There are 3 females and 1 male. $4000

We currently have a litter of tri colour puppies that will be ready to go into their new homes before Christmas. The cost of our puppies is $3.500 and that includes registration, immunisation, micro-chipping and vet check prior to departure. We take great pride in breeding sound dogs, and as a result of this have had major wins in most Australian states, with our Kennel name appearing on many winning dogs throughout this country and overseas, which is something we are very proud of. Our pedigrees are of the highest standard and quality, with blood lines including dogs imported from the United States of America, England, and Ireland, and many of our animals living overseas. Some of our more recent successes include winning Best In Show at the Basset Hound National Show held in Victoria in November 2023, Best in Show at both the Qld and NSW Basset Hound Club Championship shows as well as Best of Breed at both shows held at the Brisbane Royal in 2024.
