I have owned an Aussie since 1996 and the first AusFX litter was born in 2011. Puppies are raised using Puppy Culture protocols. PC teaches the puppy to be an enrichment seeker, and gives them a voice, generally resulting in a calmer, happier, more balanced puppy. Puppies are evaluated at 8 weeks against the breed standard for structural soundness. They are microchipped, vet checked and vaccinated, eye tested, and registered with Dogs Victoria before going to their new homes. All applicable health testing is done on breeding dogs. Much time and research goes into researching pedigrees and selecting parents with sound temperaments who complement each other's conformation. AusFX dogs are successfully competing in conformation, herding, endurance, obedience, rally-o, agility, tricks, scentwork and more. Please note that I do not place puppies based solely on physical characteristics (which is only a small part of the whole package), instead concentrating on best personality fit to each pup’s new home. We hold 3-4 Meet & Greet INFORMATION Days a year. We invite the public to come to our Centre and meet a variety of adults dogs who live with different families to learn about the breed. He is looking for home that will include him as part of the family. Earl loves to learn and play. Like any young Aussie male he will need boundaries set and training. Earl has started his basic training and can sit, drop, toilet trained, is crate trained, travels brilliantly in the car, walks on the lead and is very well socialised. What attracted you to the Australian Shepherd to think about havng one join your family? Temperament, easy to train, family friendly, fun loving and good looking! So really the colour of the dog should not be the only thing you need to think about. Granted that you will have this dog in your life for 12-15 years. But if all the traits you are looking for just happen to come in a colour that is not quite what you had originally thought you would have, well, maybe get another down the line, and make that the colour of your preference! I have 3 beautiful black tri colour boys. All of whom are exhibiting the traits I mentioned above. 2 boys are now 6 months old and ready to learn some new skills with their new families. They love water and would love someone to call their own. The other boy is 3 months old, very laid back and ready to learn. All these boys have been raised with other dogs and cats. Are used to lots of farm noises, trucks, cars, horses, sheep etc etc. They started their lives in my home, underfoot and getting used to the usual household noises.
