We only breed from Aussies who have full vet checks, DNA tested, excellent hip and elbow scores, brilliant temperaments and are truly representative of this wonderful breed. Our dogs are companions and much loved best friends! We place a number of our dogs in family homes until they are used for breeding to allow them to do what they do best, be family pets. They come home to us for whelping in a safe environment.

Our dogs are allowed to be dogs, run in parks, join in playdates, swim at the beach and be loved by children and their foster families. Aussies need the stimulation that large open spaces provide and the socialisation that comes with various external stimuli. Our dogs interact, not just with other dogs and their immediate foster family, but also with other children, the elderly, the community and extended family in those environments. Many of our dogs have gone on to become government approved assistance dogs working in nursing homes and with special needs adults and children. We are understandably proud of our focus on temperament.

We do not support early desexing of puppies due to the inherent physical problems that creates. (see current literature on our facebook page).

Puppies will be raised in the home with enrichment following elements from the puppy culture programme.
All puppies will be evaluated against the breed standard for conformation and be temperament tested to best match them with potential homes. Before they leave they will be vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and have eyes cleared. All puppies will be placed on limited register with DogsWest (NOT for showing or breeding), with a comprehensive puppy pack and a life time of breeder support. Puppies will leave with one month free - no obligation insurance with no wait time after activation.

We believe the puppies need to be supervised, loved and trained 24/7 to ensure the best start in life including exposure to different environments and socialisation. The first 12 weeks in a puppy’s life is a crucial stage of their development.

Neurological stimulation began at Day 3 through to Day 16 followed by a week-to-week age appropriate schedule of enrichment, socialisation and training. Prioritisation is given to providing a stimulating living environment, exercise and active training challenges and balancing all of these components in inside and outside settings. Pups registered with DogsWest, vet checked, microchipped & vaccinated. A puppy pack & pictorial display is provided including a comprehensive information folder on how to nurture and look after your new arrival. All health and genetic testing undertaken for the parents.

Avonyon are delighted to announce we have a lovely litter of puppies available.

We breed from Aussies who have full vet checks, are DNA tested with excellent hip scores, brilliant temperaments and are truly representative of this wonderful breed.

All of our puppies are available on a limited register pedigree. (Not for showing or breeding)

Puppies are ready to go to their new families when they reach 8 weeks old and come with an information pack and a starter pack with toys, food etc. We offer a 12 month health guarantee and provide ongoing advice through our private facebook group Avonyon Aussies with over 500 members.

Our puppies are up to date with the relevant vaccinations according to their age, fully wormed every 2 weeks and fed premium food. They are micro chipped and socialised prior to leaving for their new homes.
