Ravenrose is a small kennel in Woori Yallock, in the beautiful Yarra Valley Victoria. Our dogs are family members first but we breed the occasional carefully planned litter. Our dogs train and trial in Obedience and show in the Conformation ring. We aim to breed for both performance and family life while focusing on temperament, health and structure.
Parents are hip and elbow checked, DNA tested and eye tested. Pups are raised in an enriched home environment and sold wormed, with 1st vaccination, vet checked, eye tested and microchipped. Puppies are sold with a comprehensive puppy pack and lifetime breeder support.

Jadziah Australian Shepherds is the home of my first Aussie and Aust Champion Marashar Dancing Waters ADM JDM SD HT who came to us in 2001. Splash is a true combination of beauty and brains. And her sons Jadziah Super Sonic ADM JDM SPD HT 'Jet' and Jadziah Super Sleuth 'Holmes' are following in their mother's footsteps.

Also in our family is a beautiful Black Tri bitch from Bellamarnie Kennels, Aust Ch Bellamarnie Torquem Up ADX JDM HT 'Azra'. Azra has a wonderful side gait, energy to burn, and a cute little wriggly butt! Azra also has 2 gorgeous kids from Bobby (Am/NZ/Aust Ch Alnairs The Guardian) - Jadziah Here Comes the Sun 'Sunny' and Jadziah Walking on Sunshine 'Achilles' who will be shown sparingly.

We generally only show in the conformation ring long enough to title our dogs, then it's into the fun stuff of agility competitions.

All breeding parents are Hip Scored, Eye Tested, CEA DNA Tested.

We have been involved in Australian Shepherds for over 20 years and got our first Aussie after falling in love with the breed at an agility trial. We take pride that we don't just breed fantastic family pets but also put in the extra effort to test our dogs' soundness of mind and body against the breed standard by actively competing in sanctioned ANKC events both in the conformation ring (show ring) and performance ring (i.e. herding, agility, lure coursing, etc). This is in addition to DNA testing, annual eye examinations and hip and elbow scoring that our dogs undergo PRIOR to any breedings taking place.
