We have shared our lives with Australian Shepherds since 1995. We live with a small number of dogs as each dog competes in numerous activities and lives out their lives with us as family members. The Aussie is an excellent versatile all rounder and we have successfully titled dogs in Agility, Obedience, Rally, Tricks, Tracking, Flyball, Endurance, Herding and Conformation. We breed very occasionally when we would like a dog to join our family and prefer to home puppies in performance/sporting homes. We have been importing working line genetics from the USA for our bitches and have unique proven working pedigrees in Australia. As we dabble in Australian Shepherds under the guidance and mentorship of Dapsen (Aimee and Denise Petersen) we have grown to love this extraordinary breed.

We are a small, boutique breeder located in Victorias Otway Shire. Breeding in our home very occasionally for calm, healthy, easy going and trainable family members. All of our dogs and puppies live on beautiful acreage along side our young family and hobby farm animals. We raise our babies using puppy culture, to ensure that they get the best start possible. All of our puppies have extensive early learning experiences, we aim to send puppies home mostly toilet trained and crate trained. Our babies get exposure to noise, livestock, kids, cats and we do scent training to make transition into family life as stress free as possible. Our dogs aren't only beautiful, they are smart and sensible too.

Here at Chardalee we strive to breed true to standard Australian Shepherds, with amazing temperaments that will make great family members. Our pups are raised in the family home. Ausdreaming Cant Stop (Scout) has been mated to Skyepark Braveheart (Bear) and the litter will be due on Boxing Day 2024. Scout is a Red Tri and Bear is a Blue merle who is Red Factored, so this litter will have the potential to have all colours. Pups will be reared at home and socialise with mum, and grandfather, aunt and Bandit who is the Surrogate Mum (just loves all pups and has the greatest patience with little ones) For the first 4- weeks of their lives they will be reared inside our home and then they will be introduced to our large outside enclosure complete with visual stimuli and safe and comfortable sleeping area with hay bales and kennels. During the day they will be able to enjoy running around on our 2 acre property. Both parents have excellent Hips, Elbows and eyes cleared every year. Both have been DNA profiled and have been chosen for structure and temperament. Pups wlil be wormed, mirochipped, inocculated and have their eyes cleared prior to leaving our care. The pups will undergo Temperament Testing at 6 weeks to ensure that pups are matched with the perfect Adopting Parents. Pups will be available to go to their new home by the end of February 2025. Amariver is very proud to announce the arrival of our latest litter, Amariver Amazing Grace x Acappelia Wolves At The Door, born on 12/10/2024! Amariver puppies are raised in our home with our other Aussies and young children and will be exposed to other dogs, cats, chickens, and our horses before going home to their new families. What attracted you to the Australian Shepherd to think about havng one join your family? Temperament, easy to train, family friendly, fun loving and good looking! So really the colour of the dog should not be the only thing you need to think about. Granted that you will have this dog in your life for 12-15 years. But if all the traits you are looking for just happen to come in a colour that is not quite what you had originally thought you would have, well, maybe get another down the line, and make that the colour of your preference! I have 3 beautiful black tri colour boys. All of whom are exhibiting the traits I mentioned above. 2 boys are now 6 months old and ready to learn some new skills with their new families. They love water and would love someone to call their own. The other boy is 3 months old, very laid back and ready to learn. All these boys have been raised with other dogs and cats. Are used to lots of farm noises, trucks, cars, horses, sheep etc etc. They started their lives in my home, underfoot and getting used to the usual household noises.
