Kelpies were already an integral part of my life prior to this as my grandmother was a breeder of working dogs. My early life was spent on horseback with a Kelpie by my side. I have been breeding since 2002 and recently had the devastating news that any breeders does not want to hear. I had unfortunately bred a litter with Hip Dysplasia or HD. Whilst only ever being a very small breeder I always thought of myself as an ethical breeder and and a caring one. Therefore the bitch line where it comes from has been desexed and I will not be breeding again until the sadness has passed.
