Erudite Kennels are focused of producing Australian Cattle Dogs with functionality, without foregoing the original working type. We breed genuine working Australian Cattle Dogs, dogs with the proven talent, intelligence, ability and trainability. Our dogs work cattle and sheep, in the paddock and the yards. We are proud to share many videos of the dogs at work - we prove their ability. Our dogs have relaxed minds, like to chill when not working and are athletic which makes them perfect for active people, performance homes, and of course working. We're the only people in Australia to have trained multiple herding High in Trial winners - on sheep, cattle and ducks. We have imported a number of different bloodlines in our quest to produce exceptional dogs. January 2024 sees the arrival of our French bred dog - as we chase the ability which comes down from Lassic Blue Hawk. Our dogs can be shown, especially under judges who appreciate what makes a working dog a working dog! Check out the website for videos of our dogs being amazing. We are active on our Facebook page as well - Erudite Aust Cattle Dogs, Stock Horses & Kelpies. We hip/elbow score, DNA test and breed both reds and blues. Erudite - characterized by great knowledge; well educated; lettered; intellectual; scholarly.

Forever Home Needed for Australian Champion Morview Cattle Baron "Baz" Meet Baz, a stunning 6-year-old Australian Cattle Dog (Red Heeler) who’s looking for his perfect forever home. We recently purchased Baz and he is a a valued part of our registered program. However, we believe Baz deserves a lifelong home where he can thrive as a companion rather than being passed between homes as he has been previously. About Baz: Age: 6 years Health: Baz is healthy, energetic, and lively. He is DNA tested clear for all testable Australian Cattle Dog genetic diseases and has been hip and elbow scored with excellent results. Temperament: Friendly and playful. Baz loves cuddles, walks, car rides, and all the fun things dogs enjoy. Living Situation: Baz is crate-trained and loves being outdoors. He’d thrive in a home with a secure yard rather than being kenneled. Compatibility: He can live with female dogs but not male dogs. While he hasn’t been raised with children, he has been great with mine under supervision. Training: Baz hasn’t been stock-proofed but has been crate-trained. As professional dog trainers, we’re happy to offer future training or boarding assistance if needed. Conditions of Sale: Baz is available for $500 with a written agreement. This agreement includes exclusive breeders rights for our kennel, meaning we may request Baz have one of our girls over for a sleepover for duties in the future. For each successful pairing we will pay you $500. Ideal owner in Geelong.

Sadly I have decided to re-home my 3yo red male Heelersridge The Power Of One. Arlo has a loving nature and energy to burn. He just loves to run and unfortunately, due to my age and health, I cannot give him the life he deserves. He is from excellent champion bloodlines and is Dogs NSW pedigree registered. He has been predominantly a kennel dog, but has spent some time in the house with me so I am confident he would adjust nicely to indoor life. Arlo is lead trained, crate trained and keen to learn anything you might like to teach him. He is fully DNA tested and is clear for all known hereditary diseases, his vaccinations and worming are up to date. Although he is de-sexed, and a lover not a fighter, I feel he would be better as a one dog family (or with a female dog) as he has been an active stud dog. I will only consider the best of homes. My preference would be somewhere rural (not suburban) and with someone that has had cattle dogs before. This is a very hard decision for me and I am not in a hurry for him to leave, so only the very best of homes will be considered. If you think you can give this wonderful boy the right home, phone me for a chat on 0429 493 884 anytime. (no text messages will be replied to).
