*EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST* We have a litter due in FEBRUARY that will be ready for homes in APRIL 25. As an ANKC/NZKC breeder for 35 years, & an obedience instructor I understand the importance of prioritising temperament when breeding, & of raising a puppy that will easily adjust to family life. I follow the PUPPY CULTURE program (using their books, videos & a seminar attended) to ensure that pups are provided with enrichment protocols to nurture outgoing, confident puppies that are a pleasure to train & to live with. I breed on a very limited scale due to the huge investment of time this takes, but it reaps the reward of a well balanced puppy! * Pups are born in our house, & sleep in the house for the entire 8 weeks (no sheds) * Pups have access to a 3 stage outdoor activity area * Age appropriate enrichment activities are provided each week as they develop, such as wobble boards, tunnels, play gym, slides, see-saws, kongs etc * Toilet training is begun using a pet potty * Pups are rewarded for eye contact and sitting, so they already have a positive CER (conditioned emotional response) to training * Pups are very well socialised with people (& our 2 burmese cats) * Mother and pups are fed high quality foods to nurture a healthy gut biome * I supply weekly updates & info on raising your pup, ie online training courses & books, useful items to buy, my 16 page puppy manual, Jane Hodges GR puppy book etc * Access to Montroy fb page & lifetime support Location: Ballarat

Our dogs are ANKC registered - hip scored, elbow scored, & heart & eye certified & DNA tested. We take our responsibilities as an ethical breeder seriously, & our pups only go to approved forever homes. Contact is maintained with owners for the life span of the dog, and as friendships develop - sometimes beyond that. We provide a 16 page puppy care/training/health/diet manual/resources with our pups, as well as information on grooming, joining Dogs Victoria and Golden Retriever Club, and council dog reg. etc. Each puppy goes home with the book by Jane Hodges - An Australian Guide to Buying & Raising a Happy Healthy Golden Retriever Puppy. Our puppies are raised as part of our family, & are well socialised with people, our Burmese cats, & other dogs. Pups spend their first 5 weeks in the living room & are engaged with many interactive toys & confidence building resources and PUPPY CULTURE canine enrichment protocols. It is of vital importance to us that our pups only go to the best homes, so we like to talk by phone, then meet prospective owners. We are happy to email photos, pedigree & other information to prospective purchasers after we have spoken by phone.
