Poppy, what a girl she was! The most loving, loyal, friend and fabulous brood bitch. From the minute she hit the showring she turned heads winning consistently at Open and Championship show level in the UK before making the long journey in 1988 to join us in our new life in Australia. She was mated to the late Thelma Duncans Brettonpark Country Tweed before leaving the UK and she whelped her litter in quarantine. All of my current dogs trace directly back to Poppy, breeding true to type and even now I still see the same qualities and breed type in her ancestors and as a breeder that makes me proud.
