Bi-Lateral Hearing
This special girl began with Alisa Renda of the Pridal Kennel after deliberation with Tracey and Richard Williams of Underfoot Dalmatians. Together, we loved her temperament and natural disposition amongst her 9 litter mates, and although the choice was competitive, it was only natural for a 'Pippa daughter' to continue on with in the original home of Tink's dam. We adore the much loved generations before Tink, many of which have gone on to produce supreme champions, and look forward to Tink's future ahead.
'Tink' has been lightly shown due to the busy time constraints of Alisa's young family across Victoria and NSW, but despite this, has had some lovely feedback under local and international judges who specialize in the breed.
'Tink's' puppy success in October 2016 was under South African Judge at the 'Vic Woman's' show where she won baby puppy bitch, over 7 other baby puppies, followed by a 2nd place under a Brazillian judge at the Sunbury extravaganza under another large class. At Tink's first Melbourne Royal as a youngster, Tink placed second under a Columbian judge. Despite that not winning her class, we were extremely pleased with her temperament and happy demeanour greeting the public and performing on the day. We have no doubt that with regular showing, Tink would have well and truly earnt her points towards a championship title now. Despite falling short on gaining a title prior to breeding, we remain confident that she has what it takes to contribute and comply with the breed standards.
Tink has had one litter of 10 puppies in 2019, all of which have displayed beautiful temperaments, good health and lovely natures. We look forward to what 2021 might bring with the choice of a different sire to compliment the bloodline, and improve on quality overall.
A full DNA profile is available and includes bilateral hearing, negative for acute respiratory distress syndrome, black dominant and positive (like most Dalmatians unless LUA) for hyperuricosuria. Those seeking puppies should understand this is a breed concern and consider the health implications of stone formation when choosing a Dalmatian.
