Safi, our Princess Curlygirl, came to us from her breeders in Moonbi in 2010. We learned about Basenjis with her, and about showing dogs, and she has been a loving, funny and mischievous companion with a wicked sense of naughtiness while looking like an angel! She has a long list of Classes in Group, and a share of Best Tail, Best Red and White Coat, Best Ears and Best Headed Bitch property awards at assorted Basenji Open and Champ Shows, and has been called on many times to be a Junior Handler exhibit because she has a superb temperament as well as her pretty face. Highlights of her career include being Runner Up Best of Breed & Challenge Bitch at 2015 Adelaide Royal and her ability to completely tuck herself inside a blanket by curling it around her with her teeth. Her favourite place is under the covers at the bottom of her owner's bed!
