Introducing our lovely young boy Rio. At age 3.5 months, Rio won Baby Puppy in Group at the Colac Championship Show on 4/5/14. At age 5 months, over 2 consecutive days he won Baby Puppy of Breed at the Victorian Gundog Club Open show on 21/6/2014. He followed this up the next day by winning Baby Puppy of Breed at the Lyndhurst Canine Country Club Champ Show and Baby Puppy in Show at the Golden Retriever Club of Vic Open Show. In November 2014, at the age of 10 months, Rio won RDCC and Puppy in Group at the Far South East KC under Judge Mr N Trainor (NZ) January 2015 at 11 months, Rio won Dog Challenge (14 points) and RUBOB from the Puppy Class at the Yarra Ranges K.C. under judge Ms. C Gilmour (Sth Africa). Rio continues to shine in the ring winning Best of Breed (15 points) and Junior in Group at the National Kennel Club Champ Show in April '15 RIO WAS AWARDED "BABY PUPPY OF THE YEAR 2014" FROM THE GOLDEN RETRIEVER CLUB OF VICTORIA. Rio is a multi Class in Group Winner. He is a delightful dog who enjoys swimming at the beach and lazing around the house. At the Golden Retriever Club of Vic Open Show 2015, Rio awarded Opposite Junior in Show After 3 days in Ganmain, Rio has gained his Australian Champion Title at the age of 19 months.
