Tangey is our little American girl. Her grandsires, Aust/Am/Can Ch Preludes Practical Joker (imp Can) and Aust Ch EJ'S Chipal Thorpedo (imp USA) are both bred from Am/Can/Int Ch EJ'S Top Gun MW ROMO, one of the most successful Dachshunds ever in the USA. After surviving a near fatal encounter with a paralysis tick, Tangerina proudly represented her breed as the pointscore winner in the Dachshund Club of NSW's 2012 Dachshund of the Year runoff. Her achievements include winning the Challenge Certificate and Best of Breed award in strong competition at the Dachshund Club of NSW's Championship Show on 29/8/2013 - judge Sr F Ruiz Rodriguez (Spain). She was the Miniature Wire Haired Dachshund finalist in the Hound Club of NSW's Hound of the Year competition, 2013 as well as the Dachshund Club of NSW's Pointscore Winner for Miniature Wire Haired Dachshunds (bitches) in 2013. Tangey is the litter sister of Ch Tarrangower Tangelo, who has done well for Lyn Dunn in Queensland. She is the proud dam of four Tarrangower champions - Tequati, Tequila, Tibberoo and Tiburtini. Tangey has been certified PRA Cord 1 and Laforas disease clear.
