Now effectively in retirement, Dodger is a Multi Best In Show winner and a multi BISS winner with countless Class In Show wins to his name. He obtained his Grand Champion title in 2012 - at the time becoming the youngest Field Spaniel ever to obtain a Grand Champion Title back in the time when the Grand Champion title truly meant something (as it required Best In Group or Best In Show awards - as opposed to simply accumulating points).
Dodger has won both BIS & BISS awards. He is also the grandsire of three BISS winning dogs.
He also a winner of the Sporting Spaniel Society of NSW's Rarer Gundog Spaniel of the Year (The Walter Seymour Award) and was awarded Best Rarer Gundog Spaniel In Show at the Melbourne Royal Dog Show. He was also a quarter finalist in the NSW Showdog Of The Year.
Thank you to the many judges both local & international who have put up our boy. We appreciate your courage in putting up a rare breed.
Dodger is a confident and "spirited" field with a very gentle & loving nature.
However he is firstly and foremostly our loved family pet and a very important part of our family, and is a friend to everyone - but particularly those bearing food, cuddles, toys or bitches in season.
He was beautifully bred by Mrs Diane Seymour together with Robert & Yvonne Lauder.
