Denzel began his show career in the U.K. where he was campaigned by John Ritchie. He was awarded Puppy in Show at the Puli Club of Great Britain's Championship Show in 2004, outdone only by his father who took out the coveted Best in Show award.
Soon after he travelled to New Zealand where he was shown, and loved, by Kathryn Stewart who took him through to multiple Best in Show All Breeds. We were delighted to receive one of these awards under Dutch all-rounder Hans van den Berg who had also given Denzel's father Best in Group at the Scottish Kennel Club show in 2003, from a Pastoral Group entry of 1200 dogs ,it really is a small world!
In his short time in Australia Denzel achieved his Australian Championship title and multiple Group and Best in Show awards.
Denzel is a beautuful puli with a gorgeous profile and characteristic ground covering gait, a joy to live with and quite the 'British gentleman'.
Denzel has now return to the UK where he is being campaigned by John & Lorraine Ritchie of 'Hollibell' Puli kennels. He has made a spectacular start.....
** Group 2 in the Pastoral at the Scottish Kennel Club Show.
** RESERVE BEST IN SHOW at the Leeds Championship Show, from an entry of 1,092 in the Pastoral Group and a total entry of 9318.
** Group 3 in the Pastoral Group at the Welsh Kennel Club Show.
** Group 1 in the Pastoral Group at the Darlington Kennel Club Show, from an entry of 1,161.
He finished 2008 as the UK's No. 1 Puli and No. 3 in the Pastoral Group.
We are delighted that Denzel's son in the UK, Hollibell Ordug, has just taken out a group 4 at the 2009 Scottish Kennel Club Show at the grand age of 14 months.
In Australia, his daughter Aust Ch. Cordmaker Enchanted April, has been awarded Runner up to Best in Show at an all breeds championship show, also aged only 14 months.
A great dog proving to be a great sire.
