The Most Highly Awarded Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier Live Import Ever to Australia

In 2021 word got around that a new boss showdog and Stud Sire was required at Alinex. We received a message from the amazing Tracy Szaras that she had a rather promising boy puppy and would be prepared to offer him to us after a show career in the USA.

The orginal plan was that he would achive his championship and make an appearance at Montgomery (the greatest Terrier Weekend on earth!) and then fly downunder. Destiny had a different plan. He was awarded "Select Dog" at Montgomery over dozens of specials and was invited to spend a year with Brittany Phelps who has piloted him to the "Number One Wheaten Terrier Male - Breed and All Breed" on the pointscore (USA Canine Chronicle April, May,June,July 2024).

Rollo has totally fulfilled the promise Tracy saw in him when he was a tiny puppy. "He will be a stallion in the ring and just melts in my arms when I scoop him up." He has been seen by Australian all-breeds judges on more than one occasion in the USA; one of them famously declaring, "Australia NEEDS this dog!".

We are so thankful for this opportunity to bring Rollo to Australia. So many people have helped us along the way and we hope that Rollo will continue to bring people together as he brings his golden goofy happiness to the showrings downunder in 2025.
