Appropriately named "American Sweetheart", Demi is an absolute sweetheart of a girl. She's very chatty/talkative and cuddly, and has a minimal understanding of personal space or the notion that someone wouldn't want her on their lap. She's never met a stranger, and has a particular affection for children.

She was showed a handful of times throughout the craze of COVID and it was clearly not her idea of a good time, so when another round of lockdowns came in winter 2021 Demi ventured into the whelping box instead where she has absolutely excelled.

The first of her beautiful progeny have entered the show ring as young adults in 2023 and 2024, and have been well received by judges and the breed community.

We look forward to welcoming her final litter at the end of 2024, and then we will see if Demi enjoys the spotlight more in her maturity than she did in her youth. If not, I'm sure she'll be just as thrilled to continue her reign over the lounge at home.
