Many thanks to one of Australia's long time great Flat Coated Retriever breeders Tina Corbell for trusting us enough to to allow us to venture into the wonderful world of Flat Coats. We understand fully the effort of setting up an outstanding kennel, to say nothing about the time and expense entailed in importing from the top bloodlines the world has to offer. Sooty, (Ch Skyehaven Oliver Twist) together with his mate Sweep (Supreme Ch Alubyc The Artful Dodger) have been shown, COVID permitting, for 2 years here in Qld and enjoyed success, especially for one of our rare breeds, both gaining a Best Exhibit in Group, and classes in both group and in show. We are grateful to Sooty's handlers for all their help, not least Jeanne Chaplin, Gavin Kershaw, Hope Brown, Nell Smith, and Sarah Hind. We look forward to seeing Sooty's babies in the ring very soon.
