OPPOSITE GRADUATE IN SHOW
1. Crumptons Jonthill The Coalminer
Very appealing head and expression on this classy brindle and white pied dog. He has exquisite pigmentation, well placed dark, round eyes, neat ears, a good stop and a strong, clean foreface. His muzzle is of correct length, and clean with a good underjaw. A lovely straight, well boned front, his topline is great, his angulation is spot on, for me, I would just prefer him a shade broader throughout.
Graduate Dog
3. Jonthill the Coalminer
Very nice white/black pied dog, who fits the standard very well. A little bit on the top of the breed size with not enough bone for his size. Lovely head with very nice expression. Good pigmentation also around his eyes. Dark eyes, neat rose ears, definite stop. Proportioned muzzle, broad skull with good depth of underjaw. Well muscled neck and angulation of shoulders, straight front, good depth of chest. Level topline, his rib should be more rounded ribs. Hindquarters well angulated. Moved parallel front and back.
Intermediate Dog
3. JONTHILL THE COALMINER
Brindle Pied. A well-balanced compact dog of quality breed type. Would have prefer slightly more angulation although he is a balanced dog with no exaggerations. Typical head with dark eyes and neat rose ears, well defined cheek muscles. Straight well boned front, short coupled and held a level topline and correct tail carriage on the move.

2nd No. 20 - JONTHILL THE COALMINER.
White with brindle. Smaller type, but still well balanced. Head has good shape with tidy ears and round eye and correct bite. Front is straight with nice lay of shoulder and enough brisket. Top line is level, short coupled and enough spring of rib. Good turn of stifle and well let down hock. Moved and handled well for his handler who seemed a bit lost at one stage. Good luck with him.
Intermediate Dog
3. JONTHILL THE COALMINER
Brindle Pied. Not as matured as 1 and 2, lovely head that is still maturing, correct mouth with definite stop. Eyes to coat colour with great pigment and well placed rose ears set well to a broad skull, pleasing expression. Slightly wider in neck that flows and widens to shoulders. Straight in front and well boned, with nice depth of chest, tight feet, level topline, nicely set tail which he held correctly on the move. Presented in lovely condition and handled expertly.

1. JONTHILL THE COALMINER.
Black Brindle/white Pied. Still very much a baby, this boys best friend will be maturity. Has the recipe already to develop into a lovely, finished dog. Standard sized, balanced, impressive profile, looks the part from any angle, has a pleasing head shape, neat ears, round dark eyes. Short muscular neck into a well ribbed, short backed body with plenty of bone, straight front, with depth of brisket and spring of rib, level topline he maintains stacked or moving. He moved with confidence, has a great rapport with his handler. His coat is close and short, and shone, really liked him.

2nd JONTHILL THE COALMINER.
Brindle and white pied 19 mths. Good head proportions, a bit more lip than 1. Another dark round eyes, rose ears.
Front is strong and straight, with good feet. He is a little longer cast than 1, carries a level topline. Moderate hind angulation. True coming and going.
OPPOSITE MINOR PUPPY IN SHOW
1. JONTHILL THE COALMINER.
8 month old brindle and white dog. Only exhibit in the class. An upstanding dog at the higher end of the standard for size, there is lots to like about him. His head and expression is very correct, with round eyes, great depth through the skull, correct muzzle to skull proportions and a deep stop. He is well angulated and well muscled throughout, however he needs greater depth of chest which will hopefully come in time. Level topline. It was difficult to accurately assess his movement as he was quite unsettled in the ring on the day. It is always a delight to see a dog so alive to his surroundings and with the typical Stafford clown-like temperament on display, but he'll need to settle down as he grows if he is to fulfil his potential as a show dog.
