October 2019 Elsie gained the final points needed for her Australian Champion, with a 25 point Best in Group. Elsie is the first Whippet in Australia to achieve her Track & Search Champion and the first Triple Champion. She took to Tracking and Track & Search with ease and loves the street tracks, occasionally skipping parts and speeding her way to the tracklayer. Elsie also picked up Lure Coursing and Sprint Dog with ease, attending her first Lure Coursing event at 6.5 years old and receiving her Junior Courser title and Qualifying Test that weekend. Elsie ran in open has received a few second places and her Senior Courser title. Now that Elsie is 8 years old she runs in Veteran and recieved her first Best In Field at 8 years old. Elsie also attended her first Sprint Dog trial at 7.5 years old running 49km/h and ending the weekend one point short of her Novice title, which she has now gained. At 6.5 years old Elsie completed her Endurance Test with ease, only starting to slow at the end due to boredom. She was getting sick of doing the same lap over and over again. I think Elsie's favourite part of the test was the vet checks when she got attention from the vet and the assistance. Elsie is now being shown as a Neuter and enjoys still being in the ring, she couldn't let her kids have all the fun. Within 4 months she has gained 1x Neuter in Show and 11x Neuter in Group and her Neuter Champion. So far not letting age slow her down at 8 years old.
