NZ Ch Calivale Sex Bomb (AUST Imp)
Boomer had become very ill at 6yrs of age, and a year later was tested for the PHPT disease. (PHPT = primary hyperparathyroidism). He tested (+) and sadly had passed this gene onto some of his progeny. Boomer's sire had passed this gene onto Boomer. He became severely affected, survived a parathyroidectomy surgery, however became affected for a 2nd time at 14yrs of age, and was this time euthanized.
