TuxDanes was established in 2015, as a mother-daughter hobby breeder team in the northern suburbs of Perth however we have been involved in the breed for 10+ years. Our aim is to breed home raised Great Danes, from health tested lines (this includes yearly echocardiogram, yearly thyroid panel conducted via the University of Michigan, ACES eye exams, hip/elbow scoring, GDV panel and a breed panel for IMGD, LEMP, Ichthyosis, Mucopolysaccharidosis VI, Degenerative Myelopathy and a colour panel) We have been lucky enough to import Danes and semen from around the world - dogs from De Bouleum Kennels (Serbia) and Terras de Atomun Kennels (Portugal) and semen from DCDR Kennels (Italy), WindyCity Kennels (USA), Rosecran Kennels (USA) and TriLa Kennels (USA) - this has already been fruitful as we see the titling of our first home grown girl "AUST CH TUXDANES LADY LUCK (AI) "VIOLA" (FENDER X ARTHEMIS - USA X PRT) At the moment we breed black, harlequin, merle and mantle Great Danes but will have fawn Danes in the near future. ***"VIOLA's" daughter TUXDANES LEADING LADY (AI) "LEXI" (GDCH Walter x CH Ola - USA X AUS) titles @ 11 months old!***
