We have been active in show dogs for 40 plus years, acquiring our first Border Collie in 1974 from Crestvale Kennels in Victoria and our second from Tullaview Kennels in 1977. This was our foundation bitch, Ch. Tullaview Temptress, who was not only an outstanding breed representative in her own right in the showring and set big milestones along the way, but also paved the incredible road to where we are today in our breeding plans. All our breeding stock are hip/elbow scored & DNA tested for CL,CEA and TNS. We are always striving to breed Border Collies sound in body and temperament for pets and companions, across all Disciplines. Along with exhibiting dogs, Lynn is also a licensed All Breeds Judge. Got our first standard smooth dachshund in 1967 from Yo & Doug Batchelor of the well renowned ROMALO KENNELS in South Australia. Showed Standard Smooths and Standard Longhaireds for about 15 years before moving heavily in Border Collies. Many moons later, we were lucky enough to acquire a most gorgeous chocolate and tan bitch from Peter Mantzaris and Peter Hitchener of Mantza Kennels in Victoria, Aust. Ch. Mantza Look At Me, "Chocolate" and we are now "hooked" again on this delightful breed. We sincerely thank them both, for giving "Tullacrest" this wonderful opportunity to begin again, with such a superbly bred and conformed bitch. Our lives have been blessed by having had her in our family. We would like to thank Brian Townsend (Tiermark Kennels - NZ), Sarah Key (Keystone Kennels - NZ) Joyce Taylor and Kevin Morgan (Eukypark -Tasmania) for allowing us to use their gorgeous boys, which has really helped us in establishing our Standard Smooth lines. We are very grateful to Darryl and Joan Cross of Dakley Dachshunds in Queensland for sending us "Maggie", our first mini smooth. I know it was a difficult decision for them trying to sort the 4 sisters out as they were all so even. We cannot thank them enough for our little packet of dynamite, who has won a Best of Breed at the Royal Adelaide Show and several classes in group awards before retiring to the recliner chair and watching DVD's. She presented us with a lovely litter to Supreme Ch. Stardayne Royal Command (Elvis) of which we kept "Tullacrest Walking in Memphis" (Teddy), who through injury cant be shown, but has certainly produced some lovely babies for us and for Stardayne Kennels to carry on with.
