All dogs campaigned are winners at the upper lever of competition, a testament to their correct type, sound body and temperament. All my dogs have been ACES eye tested as having normal eyes and unaffected CEA/CH, adults are rechecked by an ACES ophthalmologist. All current dogs are genetically clear of all DNA conditions tested for except 1 dog being a carrier of CEA/CH, all are genetically clear of MDR1, DM, PRA, VWDIII, GBM etc. Shelties at Deerod have won Best in Show awards at both Specialist & All Breeds level for almost 50 years. All puppies are CEA/PRA tested and adults DNA tested.
