I have been involved in the Show World since the age of 15. Beginning with Staffordshire Bull Terriers, and also have owned and shown Weimeraners, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and now English Springer Spaniels. My philosophy with my breeding - and also my judging - is to look for the qualities within a dog. When I judge, particularly in my own breed, I am looking to award and identify dogs of a quality which I would like to have in my own kennel or breeding program.

Renee and I joined this wonderful breed with the guidance and assistance of Marie - obtaining Kiwi - Ch Birchlands Crown Choice (IMP NZ) in 2010. Some time after this we began searching for our 'girl' so bring Truespring to fruition. We were eventually able to do this with Brocks daughter - Harper 'Ch Glenkinchie Royal Choice' who obtained her title as a Puppy. Harper is also co owned with Phil, Marie and Emma. Another of Brocks daughters joined us - Blanche 'Kinsheran Carte Blanche' who has produced our very first litter of ESS in December 2017.
