Meeting our first Havanese in the early 2000's - we were charmed by their temperaments, zest for life and their endless companionship. We were joined by our first Havanese "Lucy" - Ch. Carnwatch Alibrandi, and the story unfolded from there! With nearing 40 years experience in dogs, Anne has had success in numerous breeds from the powerful and loyal Rottweiler, down the charming and effervecent Havanese, and was joined by her daughter Sarah a few years later, with Havanese joining her in her own home shortly after, as her elder dogs passed on. Dogs have been our "family" for multiple generations. We are both trainee judges for the Toy group (Group 1), and Sarah has given back to the junior handling world as a judge in this area for several years. In present day, Anne & Sarah co-breed Havanese between them, and have a small team, much loved, who are as much their companions as show dogs. We focus on selective breeding that is qualitative for the betterment of the breed, as well as ethically and legally compliant practice.
