We have enjoyed showing 12 champions, 8 of which are Shacar bred. What a beautiful world it would be, if people had hearts like Samoyeds. We take full advantage of all health screening and selective breeding stock are always hip, elbow and ACES eye tested. All breeding dogs are DNA genetic analysis profiled and all puppies are DNA fingerprinted, bile acid tested and litter eye examined before leaving home. Our mission is to promote excellence in breeding of temperamentally and physically sound pure bred Samoyeds and to be accountable for individual Shacar Samoyeds across Australia and around the world. Taymyr was chosen for our Breeder prefix, after the Taymyr Peninsula of Northern Siberia, and we are based on the Mornington Peninsula.
