At Karma Spirit we believe in producing healthy, good structured puppies and dogs with wonderful temperaments for both show and home. We live on a small acreage property in the Grampians Region of Victoria. Our dogs are family first and show dogs second. Our puppies are hand raised in the home with lots of love and socialised with our family and friends, our other dogs and our cat. All puppies go to their new homes vet checked, vaccinated, microchipped and with registration papers. We also include a puppy starter pack.

Cayugaridge has been breeding basset hounds after competing in the hound ring for over 15 years with standard wire dachshunds and breeding American cocker spaniels for over 20 years in the USA. Our lines are based on imported American and European lines, as well as Australian lines from Beauchasseur basset hounds. We test all our dogs for key basset hound health issues including LaFora, POAG, severe autoimmune syndrome and thrombocytopaenia. We pride ourselves on great basset temperaments, type and correct movement. We've imported and added leading European lines to enhance our breeding program in 2024. In 2024, we showed the No. 1 leading breed point winner in NSW, our tricolour Fern, Ch Cayugaridge Chartreuse, and No.2 breed point earner in the nation, tricolour Fitz, Ch Cayugaridge Curacao. Our pretty red and white youngster Ch Dowjacs Bejamin Button AI was No. 1 rising star in NSW and No. 3 rising star nationally. We had a lovely litter of tricolour and mahogany puppies at the end of October 2024 with Ch Cayugaridge Curacao (tricolour male) x Ch Cayugaridge The Botanist (mahogany and white female). See photos in our breed profile. Both dogs are health tested. We are planning two litters in 2025 with Ch Cayugaridge Chartreuse and Ch Dowjac Miss Priscilla and our young sires!.

At Bayparque we strive to produce Bassets that are sound, healthy and have fabulous temperaments. We have incorporated into our kennel what we believe are some of the best Australian, American and NZ bloodlines. All of these kennels produce consistent winners in the show ring and amazing family companions. All our puppies are brought up in the house and are well socialised with cats and people. We are a select kennel that have been successfully breeding top quality show winning bassets hounds for the past 40 years and are home to Am & Aust Ch Topsfield Sanchu King of Queens (IMP USA), Am Grand and Aust Ch Topsfield Sanchu Cannoli in co ownership with Longbay bassets and were home to Aust Grand & Am Ch Vahhala's Dreamchaser (IMP USA) now deceased. "Beauchasseur" aim to breed quality bassets that conform to the breed standard and are sound in body and mind. We have home bred Champions in Australia, America, Japan and New Zealand. Our puppies are country reared in a family environment and are well socialised with children and other animals. All pups leaving us go with an Advance starter puppy pack are wormed vaccinated microchipped and vet health checked. We also have a desexing contract with our companion pups. We sometimes have show quality and/or companion pups available and welcome all genuine enquiries. We are happy to board back our pups so you can relax and enjoy your holiday knowing your basset is safe and being cared for and loved. Flirty has finished her title and Mickey is closing in on the last few points he needs.
