Murray River Retriever Old Dogs for Sale

We are a small breeder, with only one breeding female and one stud dog. Using a mix of Puppy Culture and Avidog we breed our pups for show, performance and family pets. Puppies we have bred were the first Murrays to be awarded a Champion title -both female and male, Grand Champion, Best in Show, Neuter Champion, first to have both show and dog sports titles in three different sports. Our pups have been successful in the show ring with multiple in group wins and puppy in shows. Barokamurray pups have been proving their abilities not just in the show ring, but also in Agility/jumping, rally, RATG, retrieving and as therapy dogs. I have been actively involved with dogs in ANKC Obedience since 1989 and Conformation since 1997. Markable's selective breeding progrram rates temperament and physical health as paramount. My dogs are all accomplished retrievers on land and from water. All my dogs are health-screened and DNA tested to gauge their suitability prior to breeding. All Markable dogs and puppies are in-home reared, raised and maintained on a natural RAW diet. Breed, puppy rearing and behavioural information is willingly provided and ongoing contact encouraged. Australian Champion Barokamurray -Bea is the first female ANKC registered champion Murray River River in the world. She joined the Markable family in 2022 from Barokamurray Victoria. The "B" litter of "Tenarda" Murray River Retrievers arrived on 20/11/2024 - 2 boys and 2 girls. Mum "Abby" has settled into motherhood again and Dad "Bruce" is making 'no comment' at this stage. We beleve that this is only the second litter of Dogs Australia registered in Queensland. We are proud to be involved with this breed after over 50 years of successful breeding of Labrador Retrievers and over 40 years with Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. Results speak for themselves.
