Bowie is looking for his new forever home. He needs to have a dog buddy as he does not cope being an only child.
He is 8 years old in September.
He loves going for long walks and hunting rabbits and birds.
Is previous owners loved him to bits but had to move into a retirement village where they could not take him.
He has always lived out in the country so is not use to the hustle and bustle of the suburbs.
We have had him for a few months he gets on well with all the dogs here at doggy paradise, he does get a bit overwhelmed by it all and goes and hides outside from it all.
He is very affectionate but is wary of people he does not know. Has been attacked by a German Shepherd so does not like big dogs. He is very strong willed but soft as butter. Loves my mother follows her around everywhere when she comes to stay.
He just needs his own person again

I am in no hurry to rehome him as I would rather he goes in the spring or summer when it warms up a bit.

Chocolate and tan male ready for his new home. DOB 18.2.2018. Suite older people, no kids, as whilst shown in his younger days, he is has spent most of his time home with us and our other dogs. . OK with other dogs. He will be vet checked, vaccinated with current C5, desexed, microchipped. Meet and greet recommended. We are located 22 K south of Mt. Gambier, approximately 4 1/2 hours from both Melbourne and Adelaide. Sadly I have to consider my numbers due to the normal aging process of myself . :) Asking price for Darcy is a low $1800.00 all inclusive of transfers etc. Happy to talk after you have seen pics and been on web. Whilst reducing my numbers, i am still actively exhibiting my dogs, and can be seen as some country shows, and sometimes, Adelaide.
