Aust Ch Asterel Xudavnown aka "Braxton" is an Estrela Mountain Dog imported from the UK from the well renowned Asterel Kennels owned by Trisha Dean. He was well established in the show ring before he arrived in Australia and we are looking forward to a long successful show career in Austalia now the breed has been approved. The Estrela is an ancient flock guardian breed that originated in Portugal. We believe that Braxton will be a good ambassador for the breed and look forward to importing others We imported a fawn female from the same kennel who competed at Crufts in 2017 with my youngest granddaughter handling her, she was awarded Puppy & Junior of Breed. She achieved champion status not long after her arrival here and has had numerous in group awards for her age group. We have since imported another bitch from Portugal and she had her first litter on New Year's Eve. Zedric's new little bundles of fluff have safely arrived and will be ready to fly the nest in mid February. As this is a special imported frozen semen litter, we will be making our choices on whom we will keep in early February when they are older and can be assessed properly. In the meantime, we welcome expressions of interest to be placed on a contact list for when we have made our selections, after which there will be 3 puppies available. Please note, photos are of the current litter but which puppies will be made available is currently undecided. Puppies are regularly wormed, will be vet checked, have their first vaccination and microchip and be registered on limited papers (pet papers) with Dogs NSW and come with 4 weeks optional complimentary insurance and an extensive puppy pack and lifetime breeder support. They are MDR1 clear by parentage. Parents are health tested and have beautiful velcro dog temperaments. They are moderately active and have good off switches. The puppies are raised on a large cattle and cropping farm and we also show our dogs. Puppies are born and reared in the house so are used to regular household bustle and are very human oriented. When they are old enough, they have access to a doggy door for exposure to outside life and the beginning of housetraining. Ausdreaming has just completed the mating of Ausdreaming Round Here (Caydance) to Ch Amerahnn Thunderbolt JC (Storm) and the pups are expected to be born on or around the 8th of March 2025. This litter has the potential to produce Red Tri, Black Tri, Red Merle and Blue Merle. All pups will be fully vaccinated, microchipped and thorough eye examination from Melbourne Eye Vet. Both Parents have excellent hip and elbow scores, Eyes cleared and full DNA Reports. The pups are brought up in a home environment and have interaction with all Adult dogs on to ensure maximum development of their social skills. Pups will be registered as limited register unless negotiated prior to adoption. All pups will undergo Puppy Aptitude testing at 6 weeks(Volhard test) to determine the correct applicant for each pup.
