The Amasa Kennel has been the home of some of Australia's top-winning dogs for over 40 years, it is a name that represents quality in the Great Dane community.
In 2022, Sacha Packer took over the reins and welcomed a new breed with an import from the Czech Republic, a Standard Xoloitzcuintle. Belmont otherwise known as FR. JCH. SK. JR CH. EU JW 2022 BIS AUST CH. Belmont Kitlali De Citlalicue (imp Cze) RN. TK.S. ET. {ETD CGC CCF1 PKD-T} quickly showed that he was a dog that would positively contribute to the future of breeding programs in Australia. Belmont is currently the #1 Standard Xolo for 2024.
Belmont holds 13 titles across conformation, sports & temperament - He is fully health tested: hips, elbows, DNA genetic testing of over 200 diseases, thyroid, heart, eyes & temperament. Belmont is a sweet & sassy dog who makes us laugh every day.
In 2024, we leased an incredibly sweet & sound bitch, Ch Folkvar Alfenique otherwise known as Candy to partner with Belmont. Candy is fully health tested: hips, elbows, DNA genetic testing of over 200 diseases, thyroid, heart, eyes & temperament.
Candy and Belmont connect through their Arena (Mexico) line which includes some of the most stunning and successful Xolo's. We hope together they can produce sweet & sound dogs that can positively impact upon the next generation.
