Wirehaired Slovakian Pointer (also known as the Slovakian Rough Haired Pointer). Griseus is the first to own, and show a WSP in Sydney NSW. We begin to campaign Boris on the east coast from March 2022. A bit about the breed: Weimaraners are the foundation with a mix of rough coated breeds. The Slovak rough-haired pointer is a breed that originated in interbreeding. The foundation is the Weimaraner, from which the Slovak rough-haired pointer takes its colour and basic character traits. By crossing the Weimaraner with wire-haired breeds, in particular the Bohemian wire-haired pointing griffon a breed was created of colour and traits similar to those of the Weimaraner, but with a rough coat. Until 1973, such dogs were entered into the Slovak Stud Book under the breed name Rough-haired Weimaraner. From 1973 onwards, they have been registered as an independent breed and recognised as a FCI breed.

We have 1 very sweet little sable man available (show potential). The little boy is Mr Personality and is such an outgoing, loving little man. He is just an absolute little sweetheart. We had all intentions of running this little man on in the show ring however due to significant health issues we have had to reconsider. He has had both his 1st and 2nd vaccinations along with being microchipped, wormed, vaccinated, health checked and registered on Limited registration with Dogs NSW. He is also toilet trained and to date has never toileted in the house. I have been showing & breeding for over 40 years mainly with our English Springer Spaniels and most recently with Tibetan Spaniels. I have this lovely male puppy available for sale to a loving home. He is nine weeks old weeks old now and has been raised both inside the house and outside with the other dogs to learn how to socialize. He is very friendly and outgoing, and he comes with his first vaccination, vet health check micro chipped and limit pedigree papers. Due to a change of circumstances Zora is looking for a forever home. She is seven years old, desexed and well behaved inside and outside. She loves to retrieve, hunt and follow her owners around. She is very loyal and affectionate and adores all people. As a show dog she gets on well with most other dogs and enjoys the dog park. She would make a great pet, couch companion or tracking dog. She would likely chase a cat or chickens as she is unfamiliar with both. She would suit a home with someone who wants to be followed around and who is familiar with weimaraners, pointers or other active gundogs.
