At Isilwane Kennels we breed Ridgebacks - not dogs. But we're also home of MBIS/MRUBIS/BISS Aust Gr/Am Ch Ridgesetter Fly the Flag ET SC, aka Electra the Wicked Whippet. A consistent performer in the show ring, she finished her 20km ET with ease and came back to us in 2006 after spending 18 months holding her own in the US in conformation (Specialty Select & Multiple Group placings) and her new game - lure coursing. These days she is semi-retired from the show ring but her 11 Champion children (so far) and now grandchildren are "flying her flag proudly". If you've got and Isilwane Whippet - you've got Electra on your pedigree - what more could you want.

And the Whippets are multiplying (but don't tell the Ridgebacks) - we must have fed them after midnight and let them get wet!!! Also resident at Isilwane are Charlie (BISS Gr Ch Tezer Feel Free to Stare), Zest (BIS/RUBIS Ch Isilwane Flag Bearer ET) and our return package Nugget (RUBISS Ch Isilwane Jolly Roger) who is now proving his worth in the whelping box. Joining her mother and older siblings "Vesna" (it is ALL about her) - Ch Ridgesetter Maid In USA (IID). Then there is the second generation of Isilwane - Ch Isilwane Ice Age (Diego), Isilwane Ice Queen (Patches),Isilwane Tia Dalma (Calypso) & Pyrate (Isilwane Rapscallion) & Isilwane Lickety Split (Gracie).

We have 2 gorgeous, friendly outgoing pups available from our current litter of 7. They are Katie and Hendrix. They are 9 weeks old and will be able to go to their new homes soon. Our puppies are able to go to their new homes between 10-12 weeks of age. We take care to make sure our puppies have the best start to their life and expect that their new owners will love them as much as we do. All of our puppies are reared in the house (they are born in our lounge room) and stay there until 8 weeks of age. They grow up meeting everyone and hearing all the noises of a normal household, such as vacuums, TV's, radio's ect... They learn how to socialize properly with our older dogs as well. Before our puppies go to their new homes we begin their teachings on a lead and start house training, crate training and car riding. When they are ready to go to their new homes they will leave with a bag of food (if picked up from us), a booklet of information for the new owners, a blanket, some toys, treats, their own lead and collar set. All our puppies are microchipped, vaccinated and regularly wormed and vet checked. We also offer our lifetime support for all of our dogs and will always be there to help them and their owners anytime. UPDATE : Puppies were born on 25th September - 5 males, 5 females. They are now 8 weeks old and have been microchipped and had their first vaccinations and are starting to leave for their new homes. I have decided that Bruiser could end up being a big boy so he is now, reluctantly, available. Of the girls, Noni is still available.
