Ashsinhalt Whippets are an ANKC registered breeder, located in Adelaide, South Australia. We are not a kennel but a dog crazy family. Our pairings are made with a strong focus on health and temperament above all else. We strive to breed healthy, long lived adaptable companions through extensive health testing and superior puppy raising protocols. Breeding whippets has been a goal and a passion of mine for many years. I am entirely dedicated to the preservation and improvement of this breed, ensuring I am breeding close to all aspects of the breed standard. We are whippet enthusiasts with a unique goal; to bring back the original purpose and temperament of the Australian pedigree whippet, an outgoing, confident, stable and intelligent dog, a dog that can relax in a home environment, dedicated to loving its family, but intense and strong when working the field. Our whippets are tested: Hip, Elbow and Spinal scoring, full Embark DNA panel, ACES eye screening, Echocardiogram Heart screening, Thyroid and Rhabdomyolysis testing. All of our dogs compete in a number of different dog sports including Conformation, Lure Coursing, Weight Pull, Sledding, Scent Work, Agility, Tricks, Rally and Obedience. We strive to produce Whippets that are not only beautiful family companions, but that also have the ability to excell in various sporting disciplines including, but not limited to conformation, lure coursing, agility and flyball. We believe in promoting best practice principles for the raising of our puppies and as such, dedicate a large amount of time to undertaking puppy protocol handling, ESI and ENS, and individual puppy evaluations. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and we are completely dedicated to the promotion and preservation of this incredible breed. We are a small family kennel situated on 5 acres just 45mins out of adelaide. My daughters and I strive to try and produce the best whippets that we can. All our dogs are brought up in a family enviroment. And as a family we all enjoy the hobby of showing our dogs together. All our dogs are well socialised. We have a gorgeous, sweetheart of a boy available from our current litter of 7. Hendrix is such a sweet gentle boy who is 12 weeks old and able to go to his new home now. All of our puppies are reared in the house (they are born in our lounge room) and stay there until 8 weeks of age. They grow up meeting everyone and hearing all the noises of a normal household, such as vacuums, TV's, radio's ect... They learn how to socialize properly with our older dogs, and are well socialised with people of all ages. Before our puppies go to their new homes we begin their teachings on a lead, we start house training, crate training and car riding. When they are ready to go to their new homes they will leave with a bag of food (if picked up from us), a booklet of information for the new owners, a blanket, some toys, treats, their own lead and collar set. Currently from my latest litter which were born on 21.08.24 and are available now I will have one boy and one girl available to forever loving homes on the Limited Registrar of Dog's NSW. The boy is blue brindle and white the girl is blue brindle and white both puppies have had two vaccination and miccrochipping done, Vet health checked, and wormed on a regular basis. Both puppies have outgoing personalitys and are very friendly and loving and been raised indoors. They are priced at $2000.00 and I am always happy to help out with Transport.
