I have had whippets for well over 30 years now, Mostly as my much loved pets. Gold Country is located in Regional Victoria. Our dogs are raised in a tranquil country setting and are very much a part of our family, they are involved in everything we do such as bush walking, motor bike riding, swimming and road trips! Jedda has participated in Lure Coursing however not at a competitive level. Our breeding program pays particular attention to temperament, soundness and health. All puppies have health checks and are vaccinated (6 weeks) & microchipped prior to joining their new family. We spare no expense when raising our puppies, they are fed a well balance quality raw diet and are wormed regularly with various brands, such as Drontol, Advocate and NexGuard. Our puppies come with Pedigree Papers and new owners are supplied with individual puppy packs that include diet information, worming regime as well as some useful information and tips about owning a Whippet. Our advice & support is always available 24/7. All pictures that are used at Gold Country are of our own dogs that we own or have previously bred.

UPDATE : Puppies were born on 25th September - 5 males, 5 females. They are now 6 weeks old and have been microchipped and had their first vaccinations. The majority of the pups are Fawn, with white trim, along with a couple of Blue Brindles, with white trim. They will be ready to leave home after 20th November, so, if you are looking to add a Whippet to your family then send me an email or give me a call - there are still 4 puppies available. We have 2 gorgeous, friendly outgoing pups available from our current litter of 7. They are Katie and Hendrix. They are 9 weeks old and will be able to go to their new homes soon. Our puppies are able to go to their new homes between 10-12 weeks of age. We take care to make sure our puppies have the best start to their life and expect that their new owners will love them as much as we do. All of our puppies are reared in the house (they are born in our lounge room) and stay there until 8 weeks of age. They grow up meeting everyone and hearing all the noises of a normal household, such as vacuums, TV's, radio's ect... They learn how to socialize properly with our older dogs as well. Before our puppies go to their new homes we begin their teachings on a lead and start house training, crate training and car riding. When they are ready to go to their new homes they will leave with a bag of food (if picked up from us), a booklet of information for the new owners, a blanket, some toys, treats, their own lead and collar set. All our puppies are microchipped, vaccinated and regularly wormed and vet checked. We also offer our lifetime support for all of our dogs and will always be there to help them and their owners anytime.
