After a lot of research, Whippets joined the Ridgeback clan in 2010 and we bred our first litter in 2014. Our aim is to breed true to type as well as maintaining the lovely Whippet temperament.
Our puppies leave home vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and with an Information Booklet.

Coeurdelamer Whippets is a small family kennel situated right by the ocean on The Great Ocean Road in Victoria.
Our hounds are an extension of our family and are well socialised and very much loved.
We breed occasionally and breed from the highest quality stock with a focus on sound body and mind with even temperaments.
We have owned whippets for 14 years.
We currently have two bitches from which we breed.
Orlah Mae (Hydale Irish Rose) who is 3 years old and her daughter Pippa Lea (Coeurdelamer Florence) is nearing 7 months (who will be bred once she is of age)
Whippets are fabulous companions for individuals and families, they have relatively few health problems.
They love a good walk or run before finding a warm sunny spot indoors to laze for the remainder of the day.
We are more than happy to answer any questions or queries you may have.
I have had whippets for well over 25 years now, Mostly as my much loved pets. I have hunted with them and raced them for years and have now decided to continue on with them in the show ring as well as Lure coursing.
Our whippets here consist of American and English lines mostly but some Australian blood as well.
We sometimes have retired adults available to loving homes.
On March 21st 2014 we welcomed our American boy into Kanati!

I joined dogs Victoria in 1989 with my first Siberian Husky under the prefix Sibenik, showing racing and breeding for many years, until my first whippet came along in 2015 (Lexi).
Then in 2017 I acquired the gorgeous Rikki, Terraway Fire And Reign, from Wayne and Teresa Parkinson.
Rikki has proven herself as a wonderful breeding bitch producing some beautiful dogs, from her first litter CH. Whippawill Alpine King (Dougie)
Whippawill has a lovely girl from Melissa, Wickedleigh Pagan (Sophie)
CH. Whippawill Alpine King (Dougie) is available to approved bitches, he has a lovely temperament and enjoys his dog shows.

As a registered breeder with Dogs Victoria all pups must be vaccinated and microchipped, they also come with a Health Check, blanket a toy some treats and information booklet, I also give lifetime support for your dog.

We have four beautiful fawn male puppies born on the 5th of May 2024, they are available to go to their new homes from the 30th of June.
Puppies have commenced crate, toilet and lead training.
They are microchipped,vaccinated, wormed and have been health tested by the vet.
They are ANKC registered with papers.
