4 x High In Trials.

She was awarded the following results during 2024 Lure Coursing season:
4 x singles passes ~ gaining her Singles Field Champion (sFCH) title.
5 x 1sts in Open, 2 x 2nds in Open,
3 x 1st Sighthound, 1 x 2nd Sighthound, 3 x 3rd Sighthound,
4 x Best of Breed Whippet,
2 x High In Trial, and
4 x Best In Field.

Annie competed in Battle Of The States in 2023 and became Western Australia's fastest whippet, In 2024 she repeated that making it 2 years in a row WA's Fastest Whippet.

Ashsinhalt Mizune (AI) (Daisy) will begin Lure Coursing in the 2025 season and we have no doubt she will also excel at the sport.
Daizy also competed in Battle Of The States in 2024 and came in as WA's 2nd fastest Whippet (behind Annie)
Daizy will compete in Sprint Dogsâ„¢ in November 2024.

In 2011, we entered the wonderful world of Whippets - after a long and successful time showing, breeding (on occasion) and raising Rhodesian Ridgebacks (since 1984). Although being relatively new to the breed, our love and understanding of Whippets is paramount and we are eternally grateful to our mentors for their continuous guidance and support.

Our whippets are an integral part of our family being raised around children and other dogs. In fact we think they rule the house.

At Vertu Whippets we breed for health and longevity. We upbringing each puppy to express its beautiful temperament and training them to be the best pets you can dream of! All our whippets are fully health screened. Our puppies undergo thorough health checks, including heart and eyes. Vertu puppies are exposed to Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and enriched with The Puppy Culture program. We have 2 gorgeous, friendly outgoing pups available from our current litter of 7. They are Katie and Hendrix. They are 9 weeks old and will be able to go to their new homes soon. Our puppies are able to go to their new homes between 10-12 weeks of age. We take care to make sure our puppies have the best start to their life and expect that their new owners will love them as much as we do. All of our puppies are reared in the house (they are born in our lounge room) and stay there until 8 weeks of age. They grow up meeting everyone and hearing all the noises of a normal household, such as vacuums, TV's, radio's ect... They learn how to socialize properly with our older dogs as well. Before our puppies go to their new homes we begin their teachings on a lead and start house training, crate training and car riding. When they are ready to go to their new homes they will leave with a bag of food (if picked up from us), a booklet of information for the new owners, a blanket, some toys, treats, their own lead and collar set. All our puppies are microchipped, vaccinated and regularly wormed and vet checked. We also offer our lifetime support for all of our dogs and will always be there to help them and their owners anytime.
