I have had whippets for well over 30 years now, Mostly as my much loved pets. I have hunted with them and raced them for years and have now decided to continue on with them in the show ring as well as Lure coursing. Our whippets here consist of American and English lines mostly but some Australian blood as well. We sometimes have retired adults available to loving homes. Gold Country is located in Regional Victoria. Our dogs are raised in a tranquil country setting and are very much a part of our family, they are involved in everything we do such as bush walking, motor bike riding, swimming and road trips! Jedda has participated in Lure Coursing however not at a competitive level. Our breeding program pays particular attention to temperament, soundness and health. All puppies have health checks and are vaccinated (6 weeks) & microchipped prior to joining their new family. We spare no expense when raising our puppies, they are fed a well balance quality raw diet and are wormed regularly with various brands, such as Drontol, Advocate and NexGuard. Our puppies come with Pedigree Papers and new owners are supplied with individual puppy packs that include diet information, worming regime as well as some useful information and tips about owning a Whippet. Our advice & support is always available 24/7. All pictures that are used at Gold Country are of our own dogs that we own or have previously bred.

Berinswift whippets promote the promise 'bred for better breeding'. This kennel was established in 1987 and boasts to be the first Australian kennel to have a whippet qualify for and attain a class place at Crufts. A selective breeding program means that puppies are sometimes available to discerning homes. Support and guidance is available to owners as required. A Berinswift whippet is comfortable in the show ring, is a perfect companion and enjoys chasing a lure.

Berinswift KK Limited Edition (AI) was shown at The Whippet Club NSW 2023 Speciality under Editha Newton (UK) of Nevidith Whippets, this is her critique of Bazil.

Our first whippet, a rescued boy named 'Max', came into our lives about 20 years ago. Our lovely boy stole our hearts, played endlessly with our young children and managed to rid our small farm of rabbits for good measure. We have had an affinity with whippets ever since.

We then moved into the pedigree dog world with the purchase of Calahorra Zerlina - 'Lola'.
Lola had her first litter in 2018, giving us the beautiful Deevaux Pam Beesly - 'Beesly' who has grown into a stunning young girl. Beesly had her first litter in 2020, giving us our third wonderful girl, Deevaux Violet Bucket “Molly”.

Whippets have been a wonderful addition to our family, and a great example of the joy that they bring to a home: small enough to cuddle up on your lap, big enough to rough house with the kids, gentle as a lamb, and fast enough to overtake seagulls at the beach.

Our whippets live with us in our home, indoors and out, thrive on their Raw Meaty Bones (RMB) diet, and are wonderfully healthy dogs with loving and gentle dispositions.

We aim to breed occasionally to produce sound, English style whippets with gentle personalities, excellent confirmation, and a keen eye for the chase - just what these beautiful dogs were originally developed for.

We have 2 gorgeous, friendly outgoing pups available from our current litter of 7. They are Katie and Hendrix. They are 9 weeks old and will be able to go to their new homes soon. Our puppies are able to go to their new homes between 10-12 weeks of age. We take care to make sure our puppies have the best start to their life and expect that their new owners will love them as much as we do. All of our puppies are reared in the house (they are born in our lounge room) and stay there until 8 weeks of age. They grow up meeting everyone and hearing all the noises of a normal household, such as vacuums, TV's, radio's ect... They learn how to socialize properly with our older dogs as well. Before our puppies go to their new homes we begin their teachings on a lead and start house training, crate training and car riding. When they are ready to go to their new homes they will leave with a bag of food (if picked up from us), a booklet of information for the new owners, a blanket, some toys, treats, their own lead and collar set. All our puppies are microchipped, vaccinated and regularly wormed and vet checked. We also offer our lifetime support for all of our dogs and will always be there to help them and their owners anytime. UPDATE : Puppies were born on 25th September - 5 males, 5 females. They are now 6 weeks old and have been microchipped and had their first vaccinations. The majority of the pups are Fawn, with white trim, along with a couple of Blue Brindles, with white trim.
