SILVERODHAR breeding true to type 2024 has seen us being part of this breed for a fantastic 34 years .We couldn't imagine life on the farm without one of these beautiful majestic grey dogs in it. We are only a small kennel situated in Clunes Victoria striving to breed dogs true to type. We only breed very occasionally, and our puppies are very important to us and will only go to family's that can offer them the very best of homes. Established in 1972, Morago Kennels has concentrated on improving the working ability of the Weimaraner breed. Our dogs are all hunted and most have competed in Retrieving and/or Field Trials. Dusty, my foundation bitch hunted duck, quail, rabbit, hare, pheasants, partridge, wild turkeys and pigs. Her grandson, Ch. Morago Manov War won a number of stakes in Retrieving Trials and was the first Weimaraner ever to win a Field Trial in Victoria. The current girls are both from pure American working lines. The litter sister of Rana gained the title of Field Trial Champion and was the first of her breed to win a State Championship. Semen imported from the best field trial dog in America was used to obtain our next generation. Our next planned litter will be the first for our newest American import KNIGHT N PM'S GREYTRIEVE AMERICAN PIE @ MORAGO Imp USA. Waylon sports the most impressive pedigree ever introduced into Australia with a mixture of proven Field and Show Champions, the complete package of working and show genetics. All of our dogs have been DNA tested and are free of all of the known inherited genetic diseases namely Hyperuricosuria, Hypomyelination, Spinal Dysraphism and Degenerative Myelopathy . They have all been X-Rayed for both Hip and Elbow Dysplasia. Shorthaired variety only.

Established in 1990 Silverodhar Weimaraner's is extremely excited to announce that we are expecting the arrival of puppies in December. This is our first litter after a fifteen-year break from breeding these beautiful dogs. Our beautiful Maggie (Aus Ch Bromhund Makin Magic) has been bred to the handsome Jagger (Aus Ch Bromhund you're so vain) both parents have been DNA tested, and hip and elbow scored. These puppies will be raised in a fantastic farm environment with people and animals. When purchasing a puppy from Silverodhar Weimaraner's you can expect your puppy to come to you registered with dogs Victoria, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. They will leave us to go to their new families with an extensive puppy pack and support for you puppy is only ever a phone call away. Unfortunately choosing your puppy is no longer available these days. Your puppy will be carefully matched to its new family and whilst you do not get to choose, you're very welcome to come to the farm for a visit and talk about your preferences. This approach may not suit everyone, but we want our puppies to match their family and make sure they are going to have a great life with their new family. Ultimately you should be comfortable with the breeder you choose and the beautiful bundle of joy you are taking home
