We have owned Staffords for over 20 years and now showing for 14 years, we bred our first litter in 2010 and look forward to the future with our dogs.
We have had success in both Specialist and All Breeds show rings and aim to produce healthy and sound dogs.

We have been showing & breeding Staffordshire Bull Terriers since 1978 in New Zealand under the Warmaster Prefix.
In October 2008 we relocated to Australia and as we were unable to register "Warmaster" in Australia, we bred under the prefix "Blackshot".
After returning to New Zealand in March 2023 "Warmaster" has been re-activated with Dogs NZ and will be our kennel name again.
All breeding stock is L2-HGA & HC DNA tested clear, Eye Tested and chosen for adherence to the breed standard both physically and mentally.
We're a small DogsNZ registered kennel located in Waipa.
We breed for type and temperament with our puppies raised in our home around other dogs and livestock.
Our Staffords are DNA profiled and genetically clear from L2-HGA, HC & DM

Here at Valleyriver Kennels we have 5 beautiful boys available. 3 red, 1 brindle and 1 very dark. They will be ready for their new homes around the 9/10 November which is perfect timing as they will have had all their vax and be ready for adventures in time for the holidays!. Both mums and dads are Valleyriver dogs that are DNA tested clear and their families known going back many generations with each mating planned carefully over the years to produce what we believe is the best combination of temperament, health and conformation. We have a public FB group that is open to all. We also have a private FB group just for our puppy families which is a great community of Stafford loving people! When the puppies are born there will be a FB group for each litter where I will post photos and vidoes almost every day so you will see your puppy within minutes of being born right up to when they are ready to join your family at 8 weeks of age.
