Small family kennel in the Wairarapa. Our fabulous little dragons (Draganbeag is Gaelic for little dragon) are bred for temperament, function and conformation. See our Facebook page “Draganbeag Skye Terriers” for daily news and photos. Visits welcome by arrangement. Just had a litter on October 16th 2024. Next litter planned for 2025 with cream Draganbeag Moana of Skulamus and sire drop ear silver Kometa Rossi Kaif. We aim for a litter every two years. We currently have two unrelated entire males (a silver drop and a black prick ear) and two entire girls. We are often at shows in the Lower North Island and occasionally Auckland and Christchurch. We are just starting out in RallyO and scent work but hope to be competing properly soon.

The Skye Terriers literally stop traffic when we walk them around the neighbourhood. We got interested in Skye Terriers after seeing them at a dog show. They are on the endangered list of dog breeds and we feel very lucky that we are the entrusted custodians of this breed. They have great temperaments, fantastic with our children and our other dogs and cat.

We have three beautiful Skye Terriers born on the 1st of November 2024 who are looking for forever homes. Currently two weeks old they are spending time with their beautiful mum. Once they are vaccinated socialisation will start with our dogs, cats and various public parks to meet new people.
